This policy applies to the LA 1 GeauxPass (GeauxPass.com) website which is provided to LA DOTD’s LA 1 GeauxPass customers through its dedicated website (GeauxPass.com) and mobile applications. Exemptions from this policy will be permitted only if approved in advance and in writing by the LA Office of Technology Services, LA DOTD’s Director of Tolling Operations, and LA DOTD General Counsel.

LA DOTD’s LA 1 GeauxPass account will collect personally identifiable information voluntarily provided during your visit to GeauxPass.com maintained by Kapsch Trafficcomm. Examples of personally identifiable information may include:

Information is encrypted from your computer to the Portal computer processing your request.

To further secure your privacy, do not divulge any passwords or sensitive information (e.g., credit card number) to anyone in a phone call or email. When you are finished with applications that are password protected or require the input of your credit card information, always close the browser page.

The personal information collected is protected using industry standards on information security management to safeguard sensitive information. We perform annual audits to ensure the handling of credit card information aligns with industry guidelines.

GeauxPass.com allows for the collection of credit card information for the purpose of automatic funding of customer usage of agency‐managed services (toll roads, etc.). All credit card funding transactions are processed by FiServ. FiServ maintains credit card information in compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. Email

Email is not a secure form of transmission. LA DOTD LA 1 GeauxPass does not recommend that you submit sensitive or personally identifiable information via email. If you choose to provide GeauxPass.com with personal information in an email, the LA 1 GeauxPass Customer Service Center may use the email and the information contained within it to improve our service to you or to respond to your request. Your email may be forwarded to others who may be better able to assist you, and this staff may be employed directly by LA DOTD or a different agency within the state. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations or as otherwise required by law, the LA 1 GeauxPass Customer Service Center does not share your email with any other organizations outside of the public sector.
